The Novae Foundation is launching a gourmet initiative that makes sense.

1 – A Foundation born of a strong conviction

Since September 2025, Novae, a key player in the Swiss contract catering sector, has taken its commitment one step further by establishing the Novae Foundation.

Its missions:

  • Support local agricultural sectors,
  • Promote inclusion through catering professions
  • Actively combat food waste.

It’s in this spirit that the Foundation has come up with the Biscuit Solidaire: a project where a sweet treat becomes a pretext for getting together, sharing and acting together.

2 – What exactly is the Biscuit Solidaire?

It’s a two-stage participative project, designed to fit easily into the life of your company:

1 – Kitchen workshop (approx. 2 hours)

Volunteers from the team bake and decorate biscuits under the guidance of a Novae chef. It’s a friendly, hands-on activity rooted in real experience.

2 – Bake sale at the company restaurant (the next day)

The biscuits are offered to all staff at CHF 2.50 each, with Novae teams handling the communication and sales.

All profits are donated to the Foundation, to support its missions.

The workshop is an opportunity for informal collaboration, outside the usual office conventions. Bonds form naturally when everyone is stood around a hob, wearing an apron.Each biscuit sold directly supports sustainable projects in Switzerland. 4 – How does it actually work?

The initiative was designed to be easy to implement.

What Novae provides:

  • A Novae instructor, who leads and supervises the workshop
  • Communication and sales at the restaurant, which are handled by our teams
  • The material costs (or by your company, if you wish to support the initiative even further)

What your company brings:

  • Volunteers for the workshop
  • Other staff members to buy the biscuits
  • Option: supplement your donation with an additional payment

5 – What if volunteering isn’t possible?

There are other ways to get involved.

Novae offers several ways for you to support the Foundation in a way that suits you:

Our teams handle the entire production process. You can sell the biscuits in your restaurant without having to do any of the organising yourself.Support a specific project run by the Foundation or make a direct donation.
