food system cannot happen without the producers, artisans, and companies who are innovating every day on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this call for proposals, the Novae Foundation aims to accelerate the development of initiatives that provide concrete solutions to the challenges facing our food system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>develop local and sustainable agriculture,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthen local supply chains,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improve the environmental impact of food products,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reduce food waste,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote more responsible logistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and improve working conditions for those involved in the food supply chain.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our goal is to turn promising ideas into projects that can have a lasting impact in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What kinds of projects are eligible for support?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projects must meet at least one of the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A project aimed at expanding the selection of products sourced from local farms and promoting the local aspect, intended for kitchen staff and consumers in institutional dining,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A project aimed at improving the environmental impact of local food products or services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A project aimed at replacing industrial or imported products with locally made, custom-crafted products that offer better quality, composition, and ingredient traceability,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A project aimed at developing an optimized and sustainable local distribution system between producers\/artisans and consumers in the institutional food service sector,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A project aimed at improving working conditions for producers, artisans, and logistics professionals in the food supply chain,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects aimed at reducing food loss or waste throughout the supply chain (reusing unsold food, new preservation methods, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Allocation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total budget of <strong>50,000 CHF<\/strong> has been made available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The jury may award all or part of this funding to one or more projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to funding, the winners will receive operational support from Novae Restauration, including restaurant trials, introductions to kitchen staff, and assistance with communications, search engine optimization, and visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participating in this call for proposals also means expanding your network and accelerating the rollout of your initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who is eligible to apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call for projects is open to any organization based in Switzerland (companies, farms, cooperatives, associations, artisans, or food logistics providers) engaged in activities related to the production, processing, packaging, or distribution of food products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I participate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Submit an application (maximum 5 pages).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 2<\/strong>: Shortlisted projects will be the subject of a discussion or a visit with a jury member prior to the final selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
