At Novae, we are committed to our clients and employees to equipping our teams with the essential skills and tools to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As our employees work in a variety of structures \u2013 companies, schools, healthcare facilities \u2013 we have a <strong>rigorous and proactive approach<\/strong> to enable us to respond effectively to the specific requirements of each of these environments.Since 2020, Novae has been certified by internationally recognised safety standards: <a href=\"https:\/\/novae.ch\/nos-valeurs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ISO 45001<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Occupational health and safety: the Novae vision&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A safety officer on each site: local monitoring<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For each client site, we have a dedicated safety officer who ensures daily monitoring and adapts safety protocols to the specificities of each location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Continuous awareness: informing to better prevent<\/strong><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;font-weight: 400\"><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><\/span><\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prevention is at the heart of our safety policy. Throughout the year, we conduct internal awareness campaigns to remind our employees of the importance of preventive measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Regular training for teams ready to act<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our employees benefit from <a href=\"https:\/\/novae.ch\/actualite\/la-formation-chez-novae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">continuous training<\/a>, both practical and theoretical, on key aspects of safety at work, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>handling equipment,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gestures and postures to prevent injuries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first aid,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>food safety,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cybersecurity,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>healthy nutrition (less salt, less sugar, balanced meals).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These training courses prepare them to react quickly and effectively to various situations, so contributing to everyone&#8217;s safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Novae innovation: training using virtual reality:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<em>For the practical aspect, we have developed a virtual reality training module in collaboration with the <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.heia-fr.ch\/fr\/recherche-appliquee\/instituts\/humantech\"><em>HumanTech<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;Institute in Fribourg. This module allows our employees to train in realistic situations, while remaining in a completely secure environment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Occupational health and safety: a strong commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An annual day dedicated to safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, we organise a day dedicated to occupational health and safety. This day brings together our safety officers and managers around practical workshops, discussions with experts, and the definition of future objectives in terms of safety and well-being at work. We work with a specialised organisation, recognised worldwide, to offer an employee assistance programme, accessible anonymously and confidentially. This programme offers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>individual consultations with occupational health professionals,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>managerial advice to support our teams,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>solutions for a better work-life balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A dedicated tool<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our internal platform allows direct and transversal communication between teams, with a flow dedicated to discussions on occupational health and safety (OHS).
